Our Thanksgiving

I am really loving Thanksgiving these last couple of years. I love that my girls love to help decorate the table and bake in the kitchen. I especially love that Darin loves making the pies with the girls. This year he took a pie making class at Williams Sonoma. He and Paris apparently learned a lot, because our pies rocked!

Paris and Papa playing the piano
Paris and Savvy trying to talk "uncle Jimmy" into coming back or staying longer...
The baby table. Should there really be such a thing?
The napkins all the kids folded (thank you, you tube) complete with the chocolates Paris designed for each guest...

Our table, quite possibly the best part
More pictures of people, because they are more important than the food, right? Yep, especially when for two years in a row, the Turkey Bombed. Yep, worked so hard on it and then somehow the thermometer was in the wrong part of the Turkey and it said it was done, and it wasn't. Soooo, we had Turkey soup. The soup was great for the next four days, cause that's when I felt like cooking again!

Big Brother Comes to Town

Because when this guy comes to town, he gets his own Post. Please come back for Christmas!
Everything is always fun and funny when Jimmy is with us. I think here is politely insulting the picture taker. If there is such a thing, he's doing it!

Thank You

For the Children's Museum where you can get paint everywhere and we all think it's Art
For Madeline who couldn't wait for Nanna and Pappa to arrive so we could go back to the Museum
For Paris who genuinely loves taking care of a seeing her siblings happy. She is crafting with Madeline here.
They have a big fire engine on display complete with the Dalmation. Thank you Children's Museum.
Thank you Shauna for moving here, so these cousins can grow up as "best friends."

Thank You to the seamstress who sewed these so I didn't have to.
And who obviously has a sense of humor. I don't know why she's crying the outfit was her idea...
Thank you to Papa for helping Easton make a tractor the entire time we were there. Easton loves being with you!
Art looks better at the museum!

Never Say This

Hey Darin, "I really don't think the flu shots work, because we never get them and we never get sick." I should note here: he doesn't agree with me.

You get kids that have to stay home from church...

Somehow they still manage to cook...

This is a good indicator of how she felt

Popcorn will never taste good in this bowl again. It's been an entire week of the FLU. Yep, a bummer, wiped through the whole family. Flu shot next year? NOPE
