My brother just left a few hours ago. While blogging I came across this picture I hadn't seen for awhile. I have been thinking about my mom and my brother.
My mom because while on our Spring Break road trip. I got to see her twice. I was reminded how great it is to go "home". St. George was never my home, but because my parents live there it feels like home to me. It's always unexpected to me when I arrive. It feels peaceful and comfortable. It's not something I think about beforehand, so it always catches me by surprise. This might be a funny comparison, but the same thing happens when I walk into Deseret Book. It's not the temple, it's not a church, but every time I rush in like I do every other store, I am taken back by the spirit I feel when I enter the doors. I really love that place. My mom is such a nurterer and she loves to take care of me. My Dad tears up almost every time he looks at me or my kids. Who else loves me like that? I love to go home!! Another bonus is getting to see my younger sister Jarica and her husband Jake and sweet baby Lincoln. They love that baby and I know they are going to have bunches of them. They are perfectly suited for it. They drop everything to hang out with us. They make me feel like they really like us. I love them!
My brother: He was here this weekend for a trade show for the new company he bought. He is amazing! I have never met anyone so captivating! By the end of the show, every vendor there knew him by name and probably wanted to by his franchise just to be a little more like him. There is no one like him. He was featured in Entrepeneur magazine this month. He forgot to mention it probably because he doesn't really care. He stayed in my home and every kid of mine could hardly sleep just knowing he was here. They made him breakfast in bed (turned out to be breakfast on couch, because he doesn't sleep much). They followed him around like puppies. I think he couldn't figure out why they love him so much, given they don't see him very much. He was busy and didn't have much time to play with them, but they were just happy to be in his presence, as was I. I love him!
I have since almost my entire family in the last couple of weeks and bunches of Darin's family as well!

Hey Lori (and I do know your name is Lori :-) Sorry!) Now these are some serious updates! Your family is so adorable! Cute little Ava in her pink cast! So sweet! And what a trooper! Looks like your last few weeks have been filled with some sweet, sweet moments! Seriously, your family is adorable!
Okay- I read through all of your updates. It sounds like you've been busy and have had lots of fun. I'm sure your girls loved getting together with the Bray girls. So sorry about poor little Ava! She sounds like a trooper though. I love your pictures. And I'm glad you posted. I've missed you! We need to catch up. It's been way too long! And your comment on blog about April Fool's I don't like mean pranks, but ones that are harmless are okay- and fun to do. Hopefully they keep it in check---so far so good. :) Glad to see you back!
Gotta love this family soooooooo much with every single one of you blessing my life and bringing in sunshine by the bucket fulls! Nanna
Not only does your Dad tear up when he looks at you or your kids in person, but when he reads your blog and sees how you emulate all the teachings he so desperately wanted you to inculcate into your busy and productive lives. You, your incredible husband and your family are such a blessing to Mom and me; whether through your blog or through and unexpected phone call on a family home evening night! I am truly blessed beyond measure.
I was glad to see you pop up to the top of my blog list with some new posts! :) It looks like you had a fun Spring Break. You really do have an amazing family. What a blessing that is! They are all lucky to have you too!
I love that you are writing more. I think you should post a post all about ME. Your family pictures are really cute. It's fun to read your blog because as much as I talk to you I still learn new things by reading your blog. Love ya.
