I hopped in my car with two day notice with Shauna and our 4 little ones and drove to St.George. I-70 had a big rock slide and shut the road down for several days before we left. When Jimmy offered to fly to Colorado to retrieve us I knew he must really want to be with his sisters, so I threw good sense to the wind and drive my 7 month pregnant sister 24 hours in a three day period to see our one and only brother. Somehow he convinced the whole family to go because he was coming in town. Only Jimmy is all I have to say. I was so glad I went. It takes a lot for me to get out of town and truthfully I hate leaving any of my family ever. This trip was worth every second of it...
The kids can't get enough of "Uncle Jimmy." Moments before this photo was taken he had them all sailing through the air and landing on the beds. Thank goodness no necks were broken. I can't wait until he has kids so I can put his kids to bed in this very same fashion:)
My mom. How great is she? 61 years old and she thinks nothing of hopping on the plasma cars with the girls. Needless to say they love her...
Ava and Claire were in heaven the entire time. We hardly saw them or heard from them the whole trip. They kept each other super busy!
Another great reason to hop in the car. This picture was taken 6 days after Jarica had given birth. She is such a great mom, and Wesley is such a cutie! I'm so glad I got to meet him, darn I couldn't talk them into blessing him while we were there. All the kids were so excited to take their turn holding and loving on Wesley.

Love those spontaneous trips! They are such memory makers!
