I am not sure who is more excited about Easton's new sport, his Dad or Easton. I am pretty sure it's all about the equipment. We decided to have him play lacrosse instead of football for the "safety factor." I am not sure that was the best decision, there seems to be a lot of hitting in this sport. That said, Darin always refers to Easton and "the little man." Lately he asked for some revision on that nickname. He is now convinced he is a medium. A couple of indicators are the following: he no longer thinks that everything that tastes good must taste better with bbq sauce on it, and the other day he quietly thanked me for teaching him how to be a hard worker. I think we still have a lot of work to do on that front, but I am glad he is seeing the wisdom in hard work. I love that boy!
